Okay, you tell me

I see this one almost every week, and almost every week it makes me chuckle out loud. Why? I'm not sure I can even put it into words. Maybe the imagery behind personal sponges just doesn't mingle well in my head with food?

Yeah. Yeah, that's probably it :)

It's good that they went with sponge cake. How else would you wipe up all the "milk filling"?
:-)

Seriously, would it have been so hard for them to write "cream filled"? Don't answer that... ☺

Nice one, Mrs. S!
Truly, I haven't ever bought this - I suppose it's *possible* that it really is filled with milk, and not cream :)

According to the Hebrew it is actually filled with cream. They even used the English word cream!

Aviva, you're right - I didn't even think about that! In Hebrew, they call the filling "milk cream." Maybe they didn't have room for both, so they just chose one? I guess they chose the wrong one :)

I think personal sponges are at least better than shared or communal ones...
